When it comes to boudoir shoots, a little liquid courage can go a long way. So, when this first-timer walked in with a glass of wine, I was all for it. Yes, it may be awkward at first, but I love how my clients trust me to make intimate shoots as comfortable as can be. In the end, it’s all about capturing their sexy side and documenting a beautiful legacy, and this woman was glamorous from the start.
Taking pictures for her husband’s birthday at Four Seasons Hotel Denver, she wanted to set the scene at a “neutral” location and place they both enjoy attending. And although her man wanted to take sexy pictures of her, she instead wanted to own the situation and surprise her hubby with timeless, sensual photos.
I loved how she brought one of her husband’s shirts, donned a long strand of Gatsby-inspired pearls, picked her favorite lingerie pieces from the drawer and slipped on her highest of heels. And those jean shorts? Hot mama!
In case you’re wondering how this Colorado mom stays in the amazing shape she’s in, she loves cycling, running, hiking, and doing outdoor bootcamps in the summer and skiing and yoga in the winter. Most confident in her derriere and legs, she wanted some of the poses to capitalize on some of her best assets (no pun intended). At the end of the shoot, we tried some “covertly” nude poses that turned out to be fully nude, beautiful and radiating with confidence.
Her hair and makeup was done by Keegan Steele of Steele the Spotlight, who I highly recommend. (Keegan’s airbrush foundation is a hit and so relaxing!)[oqeygallery id=328]
