I take it as a wonderful compliment when a couple books me to photograph their wedding without meeting me first. Laura & Dennis found me on the Lodge at Vail’s preferred vendor list, which lends me a dose of credibility, yet still, their trust in who I am as a person and as a photographer really means a lot to me! This adorable couple lives and works in New York, but are having their wedding this July in Vail. I am SO looking forward to it! Laura and Dennis and I met for the first time a few weeks ago at Hudson Garden in Denver to take their intimate engagement photos. I must admit, I had sort of forgotten what a great location Hudson Gardens is. There are lots of great little spots for photography and we had beautiful soft light- even if it was a “tad” chilly for a May afternoon in Colorado. Laura and Dennis were both great sports and cooperated with all the goofy things I was asking them to do. We were able to mix it up, break the ice, and I eventually got a sense of their personalities before their big day this summer. I was really happy to find that we had an easy and relaxed connection, after meeting them for the engagement session, I knew the wedding is going to be amazing, no doubt in my mind! Thanks again Laura for choosing me sight unseen, I love and appreciate your trust in me! When my clients really trust me, I am able to be my most creative self. 🙂
