Same Sex Engagement Photography Denver: Recently, Frances Photography has had the honor of photographing two same sex couples, for their engagement photos. We had so much fun and absolutely love the way the photos turned out from each session!
Jenna & Zabeth:
Jenna is a Wedding and Event Planner with the dream team, our dear friends over at Table 6 Productions. She and Zabeth will be getting married in Mexico, in May 2017! Jenna and Zabeth’s engagement photos were taken by our fearless leader, Frances. Their same sex engagement session was seriously the most romantic, playful, and fun engagement session we’ve had in a long time. Frances took Jenna and Zabeth to a neighborhood park in Arvada, where she captured the playful and fun side of the couple as Jenna road her bike and Zabeth tagged along, on her skateboard. As the sun began to set, Frances then took the couple to one of her favorite photography spots at Standley Lake in Arvada, CO. Can you say, “photo op!” The only word to describe the setting at Standley Lake, especially at sunset, is “magical.” And that’s just the word to describe this couple, their love for each other, and their engagement photos. The couple even got to put their toes in the sand, a little preview of what’s to come at their destination wedding next spring! It was a gorgeous night at Standley Lake and the natural sunlight made for absolutely beautiful and romantic photos. Check out a peek of our favorite photos from the session:
Dave & Ken:
Dave & Ken are two of the sweetest, most fun individuals we’ve ever met, and their engagement photos portray just that… the sweetness of their relationship and the fun they have being with each other. Dave and Ken live in downtown Denver, recently got married in Denver, and gathered with their closest family and friends at the Michael Warren Gallery for their reception, at the beginning of the month! Because of their love for Denver, it was the perfect setting for their same sex engagement session. We absolutely loved the props that Dave and Ken incorporated into their same sex engagement session to make the session personal and memorable. We can’t get over the “Mr. & Mr.” sign! We hate to spoil the surprise, but the couple’s wedding photos were just as sweet as their engagement photos. We’ll be sharing those on our blog, soon, so stay tuned! In the meantime, here’s a few of the highlights from their engagement session:
We absolutely love our couples and the uniqueness that is captured through each individual engagement shoot. We are honored to have been a part of such a special time in Jenna and Zabeth and Dave and Ken’s lives!
