It is very exciting to see the boudoir side of my business get recognition on a wonderful website dedicated to the boudoir photography community! I’m proud to announce that I was chosen as the\u00a0 March 2012 featured photographer<\/a> for the Association of International Boudoir Photographers.\u00a0 Boudoir photography<\/a> is something I have become very passionate about in the last few years and I have realized in the process that one of the things I am here to do in this lifetime is empower women.\u00a0 As an artist and a photographer, I do this by giving my clients visual access to their own innate beauty in a way that they have never seen before.\u00a0 I can say with total confidence that doing a boudoir session is one of the most empowering experiences a woman can have because I myself have been on the other side of the lens too.\u00a0 Two years ago I went through a very traumatic divorce.\u00a0 My husband of 9 years kidnapped our adopted 13 year old son and left the country, never to return again.\u00a0 It was a heart-breaking time in my life and of all the things I was feeling, beautiful was not one of them. A friend of mine generously gave some of his talent and time to prove me wrong. After that session, before I ever saw a single photo, I felt like a different person.\u00a0 There was something magical about allowing myself to be vulnerable and exposed and being professionally guided to exude power and confidence… and beauty.\u00a0 When I saw the photos taken that day, I was blown away.\u00a0 That hour changed the way I see myself forever.\u00a0 Since then I have been giving that experience back to the world- one woman, one session at a time.\u00a0 The truth is that we are ALL beautiful creatures despite the messages we get inundated with about what is physically beautiful.\u00a0 Real beauty is on the inside and the trick is getting it to show up on the outside.\u00a0 If you don’t think it can be done…\u00a0 try me.\u00a0 Let me prove you wrong![oqeygallery id=203]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
