In my last post I wrote about how boudoir photography can be woven into any ones life at any stage in this game we call life. This post will continue somewhat along that same theme. As human beings we grow & mature over time and the environments that we inhabit change and progress along with us. More often than not lately, I am working with new clients in their beautiful homes. This gives the images a special and very personal “touch.” It’s been interesting to examine how my clients respond & connect with the images I take in their homes, versus the clients that I work with in a neutral location, like a hotel suite. 100% of the time, people have purchased additional products from their home sessions. From canvases, to books, to prints, people always want more. Everyone is different of course, and sometimes a hotel suite is the best option for many clients, but my personal preference concerning boudoir session locations, is to work in a unique environment. Oftentimes, that is in my clients home. Being a mature woman doesn’t mean being too “old” for anything! On the contrary, the older we become, generally speaking, the more confident and more comfortable we are, AND we are better situated in life to take STAND-OUT boudoir images!
