In 2023, after 20 years of documenting love stories, Frances stepped away from shooting weddings. But oh, what an epic journey it was.
What an incredible journey this has been. While a few exclusive, high-end opportunities have coaxed me back from time to time, I confidently and proudly recommend the following people:
For a timeless style similar to mine, there is no better than Sara France - a Sony Artisan. World class. BFF.
For a crazy cool, adventurous style, look no further than Jesse and Moira LaPlante I trusted them with my own wedding photography!
For the hardest working wedding artist you'll ever meet - look no further than Heather Huie. I'd trust her with my life.
As a wedding photographer for over 20 years, I have spent countless hours capturing the beauty, joy, and love of couples on their special day. It has been a privilege to be a part of so many special moments, and I will always cherish the memories that I have created with my clients. However, as I say goodbye to the wedding photography industry, I am filled with excitement for what lies ahead.
While I have loved my place in this industry, I have come to realize that my passion for photography extends far beyond one niche. I am excited to explore new areas of photography, and to use my skills and creativity in new and exciting ways. I remain incredibly grateful for the experiences and opportunities that the wedding photography has provided me even as I look forward to a new chapter in my career.
In the end, my decision to leave wedding photography is bittersweet. I will miss the excitement and joy of capturing the beauty and love of couples on their special day, but I am excited to explore new areas of creative expression as I grow and continue to evolve as an artist.
As I bid farewell, I want to express my sincerest gratitude to all of my clients, colleagues, and friends who have supported me over the years. I have been so very lucky to work with each and every one of you!
